CircusP

CircusP is an American electronic music producer and illustrator most renowned for his prowess with the VOCALOID series of vocal synthesizers. Influenced heavily by pop, rock and EDM staples like Lady Gaga, Incubus and Yasutaka Nakata, he started experimenting with his signature sound at 13 years old, after being inspired by a Hatsune Miku cover of Hare Hare Yukai from the then-popular anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Five years later in 2013, he released his first album Lucid, and went on to release multiple EPs and albums, with his track Ten Thousand Stars performed live at Miku Expo in 2016 before thousands of people.

Most famous in osu! from neonat's set of Goodbye created back in 2015, CircusP's sound references his inspirations quite heavily, favoring a pop-infused, vocal heavy weave of electronic leads underscored by melodic and highly catchy hooks.

Mappers fond of a wide variety of vocal-centric pieces will find much to like in CircusP's work, especially those who favour their music sprinkled with features from modern pop.
