osu! World Cup 2015 - Registrations open!

We would like to welcome all of you to this year's official osu! World Cup. This year, we implemented some groundbreaking changes, so check them out! Please read our wiki article carefully before registering for this tournament.

Tournament Schedule

• Registration Phase: 1-18 Oct 2015
• Live Drawings: 1 Nov 2015 14:00 UTC
• Group Stage: 7-8 Nov 2015
• Round of 16: 14-15 Nov 2015
• Quarterfinals: 21-22 Nov 2015
• Semifinals: 28-29 Nov 2015
• Finals - Week 1: 5-6 Dec 2015
• Finals - Week 2: 12-13 Dec 2015

What has been changed?

• Players are now able to sign-up individually. Teams will be compiled by captains after the registration phase is over. For more information, please read the Tournament Registration Regulations.
• You can sign up from the registration page.
• We raised the winning conditions for the Finals - Week 2 to Best-of-13 (used to be Best-of-11).
• The limitations of exchanging players have been removed. You can exchange players freely now.
• We added more clear regulations regarding disconnects and inappropriate behavior during the matches.
• We implemented a money prize pool.
• We plan to use a different scoring system within the tournament matches, relying less on pure combo count and more on accuracy. We will provide you detailed information as soon as it is available!

Prizes

We are aiming to have a minimum $5,000 cash prize pool for this world cup. We will be announcing a way you can help raise funds for the prize pool shortly, so stay tuned!

• 1st: 50% of the raised prize pool, profile badge, "osu! Champion" user title
• 2nd: 38% of the raised prize pool, profile badge
• 3rd: 12% of the raised prize pool, profile badge

How do I register?

• Click here to sign-up!
• Do not create teams in advance! Teams will be formed after registration phase concluded by country's team captains.
• Submit your registration before 18th October 2015 at 23:59:59 UTC.

Note that you can only participate if you are of a osu! global ranking of #5000 or higher and did not violate the osu! community rules in the past 12 months.

If your registration was successful, you will be notified via a forum message. This may take a while, so please be patient.

Remember that any registrations past the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances - so get your registrations done early to avoid any last-minute issues.
