You voted, and the results are in - check out our winning Summer Theme Park 2020 Fanart Contest entries, now showing in a main menu near you!
With a golden ticket to the osu! brand theme park on the line (where the theme park is the main menu), the intrepid artists of the osu! community assembled and put pen to paper and nib to tablet in order to produce some of the most stunning examples of fanart we've seen so far.
Now a little more accustomed to the contest themes than last time, our artists had their creativity put to the test. Wrangling our mascots into a theme park is no easy task, but given how things have turned out, it is safe to say that our 15 finalists below nailed it.
As you requested last time, only the top 5 finalists will be receiving a commemorative profile badge showcasing their prowess for the world to see. The rest will join them on the main-menu all the same!
Without further ado, let's get straight into it:
(Remember: clicking the banners will link you to a high quality picture of the piece!)
Leading the pack by a healthy margin, Shuuzo is our grand victor for this contest with a whopping 5966 votes detailing their take on a casual pippi enjoying a lakeside crepe overlooking a ferris wheel and rollercoaster.
Stunning use of colour, composition and cute combine to create something truly special, as is plain by the sheer number of votes it received. Well done!
In second place with 5605 votes, AnimeAttics wowed crowds with a well-dressed Chirou waiting for you with an excited don at the gates to an osu!-branded theme park.
Striking use of shade and shadowing to produce that classic summer feeling really elevate this piece, especially when Chirou is also rendered so stupendously gorgeous at the same time.
Sjao is back at it again, scoring 5052 votes with their evocative piece of a very excited and casually-attired Mocha dragging someone to their ferris wheeled fate. Or perhaps to the rollercoaster.
Either way, you're coming along, and it isn't surprising in the slightest that this picked up third place overall. Simply superb.
Scoring 4877 votes, xxxxxx2800's take on Maria, pippi and Chirou enjoying some candy at an all-gamemodes theme park impressed voters for sure.
Edging in as the last of the badge-winning finalists with 4791 votes, KrisyYy's take on a more maturely-fashioned Mocha and inexplicable catgirl pippi enjoying the seaside view from atop a ferris wheel was well ahead of the rest of the pack, and for good reason.
It may be hard to take your eyes off the mascots, but a little attention diverted to the scenic background reveals a stunning amount of attention to detail, including things like the little rocks on the beach, the wash of the coastline and even the specular refraction off the ocean and ride compartment. Awesome stuff.
Coming in sixth place with 4646 votes, McFriedFries wowed with their summertime botanical pippi enjoying a bit of rest with a plunging rollercoaster doing its thing in the background.
Ariisha nabbed 4543 votes for a superbly stylized take on a whole bunch of our mascots enjoying time at a splash park, including Yuzu being harassed by the lifeguard for going into the pool without a shirt on.
The connotations of that need not be said, but I doubt they surprise anyone at this point.
XShadowGirlX scored 3963 votes for a gentle nighttime portrayal of pippi enjoying some cotton candy before a skill-testing machine filled with all sorts of community icons, including (but not limited to) Taikonator, Sotarks, WhiteCat, Airman, Mocha and a strip of bacon. Crispy.
Long-time crowd favourite TofuMang returns to scoop up 3922 votes with his delightfully fantastical take on pippi enjoying a most marvellous carousel ride, complete with a sky whale, and two hot Airman balloons.
Dreamxiety nabbed 3826 with their take on a super-excited pippi all pumped up to ride a super-detailed carousel.
Another long-time crowd favourite and regular contestant, snowyani2000 scooped up 3522 votes with an incredibly detailed theme park vista showcasing all of the major mascots lounging about in the sunset hours atop a spinning teacup ride.
The attention to lighting, framing and overall composition in this piece is phenomenal, as is always the case with his work!
Hecatia's take on a car-lounging pippi enjoying a brief drink scored 3313 votes and earns extra imaginary points in this writer's eyes for taking the time to do something considerably different from the norm.
HEKUSODASU took mascot performances to the next level and incited a crowd of 2882 voters, with pippi, Mocha, Maria and Aiko striking it out in front of a very enthusiastic crowd.
It has been far, far too long since we've had a chibi-stylled entry. Moar!
Boom_Beatz123 took fantasy palettes to the next level and won the attention of 2791 voters with their smiling pippi set to a backdrop of festival lights and a candy-coloured ferris wheel.
2787 voters were dragged around the park by VoidSynatic's piece detailing the full osu!taiko mascot line-up of Tama, Aiko and Mocha making the rounds about a very big theme park, with Mocha looking like she can't quite keep up with the rest of their tolerance for the rides.
There's always one person in every group during those kinds of outings!
Big congratulations to all the finalists, and an extra congratulations to the top 5 placing finalists, who are now the proud recipients of a profile badge showcasing a teeny snippet of their own winning work forever more. All the finalists will be making it to the main-menu and will be receiving 3 months of osu!supporter for their efforts.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered - this year's run of thematic seasonal contests has been really awesome so far, and it wouldn't have gotten that way without your support and participation. We hope to see you again in a few months time for that spooky time of year!
