Here come the results of the osu!mania Mapping Olympiad's 2nd edition, including sick surprises for sure!

For the first time in the history of the osu!mania Mapping Olympiad, two Olympians have received the same score and share first place! Please give a huge round of applause to Kawawa and Toaph Daddy!

During this iteration, contestants had to create a full mapset for 1 of 5 songs from several Featured Artists, including PUP, HyuN, IAHN, Frums and Cranky! You can find more details about this contest's criteria over here!

Congratulations to Kawawa and Toaph Daddy, our two winners! They both managed to get an impressive total score of 140.5 despite having quite different scores in each category.

After earning second place in their last Olympiad participation, Kawawa ties Sinnoh for first place on the Olympian points leaderboards! Their score in the Rankability category clearly shows their ability to provide high-quality content while being original on the side.

osu!mania veteran Toaph Daddy joins Kawawa on the podium with for shared win! They impressed 2 of the judges with their song interpretation and received an outstanding score of 18 out of 20 from each judge in the category!

Let's jump on another spicy tie for third place! lenpai and BringoBrango both reached third place after receiving a score of 138 which is not that far from first place's score! They both achieved an excellent score in the Originality category, hitting the highest scores in that category among all the entries!

Prizes

We would like to thank everyone who took part in this contest, and we'd like to congratulate the top three podium finishers! Below are the rewards for each winner:

  • First place: 4 months of osu!supporter, 6 Olympiad Points (resulting in Mapping Olympian badge), winning mapset pushed to Ranked section, and the Elite Mapper user title.
  • Third place: 2 months of osu!supporter, 2 Olympiad Points.
