osu! World Cup 2014 - Registration Phase

We'd like to welcome all of you to this year's official osu! World Cup. The rules have been adjusted from the previous OWC, so please read them carefully before registering for this tournament.

Tournament Schedule

• Registration Phase: 02-26 Oct 2014
• Live Drawings: 1 Nov 2014 14:00 UTC
• Group Stage: 8-9 Nov 2014
• Round of 16: 15-16 Nov 2014
• Quarter-finals: 22-23 Nov 2014
• Semi-finals: 29-30 Nov 2014
• Finals - Week 1: 6-7 Dec 2014
• Finals - Week 2: 13-14 Dec 2014

What has been changed?

• Every team must consist of a minimum of 6 players.
• We have changed over to a double elimination bracket after group stage. Therefore, the tournament runs for a full week longer.
• We have adjusted the mappool size to be smaller and more consistent across all stages.
• We have implemented a new 'veto' rule, replacing the previous beatmap picking restrictions.
• The FreeMod bracket has been readjusted.

Prizes

• 1st: 6 months supporter tag, profile badge, osu! merchandise, "osu! Champion" user title
• 2nd: 3 months supporter tag
• 3rd: 1 month supporter tag

• Hand in your registration before 26 Oct 2014 at 23:59:59 UTC+0
• Your team must consist of 6-8 players residing in a single country.
• The tournament will run with a total of 32 teams.
• If you have any changes you wish to make during the registration phase, request it via a PM.

How do I register?

• To register, fill out this form.
• Then, verify your registration by sending a PM to Loctav titled "OWC Registration".

If your registration is successful, your team's captain will be notified. Any registrations or team changes past the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances - so get your registrations done early to avoid any last-minute issues.
