Official osu! Fanart Contest 5 Begins!

The fifth Official osu! Fanart Contest is here.

You all did so well with the Halloween osu! fan art, so you can probably guess our theme this time (cue jingling sleigh bells) - but there''s a twist...

Yes, Christmas is just around the corner, and we want spread some festive cheer by giving the osu! title screen a Christmas overhaul...featuring YOUR art! So this time, we're providing templates for the title screen and asking our talented users to come up with original osu! Christmas backgrounds. The best osu! Christmas designs will be rotated on the title screen in the lead up to Christmas (from December 22 ~ 31) for all to see.

This time we're mixing things up with the prizes. We'll announce 10 winners who will each win a four month supporter tag. First place wins you an osu! tablet too! A selection of the the best designs will be rotated on the title screen from December 22 ~ 31, regardless of whether they are first place winners or not. Further compensation will be offered for any artwork that is used for official merchandise.

Rules

• Artists should use the custom templates provided: PSD template / PNG template Note: these templates are to be used as a guide - but don't leave the pink circle in your final artwork ;)
• Artwork must fit theme. In this case, it must be Christmas-themed osu! artwork specifically designed for use on the osu! title screen.
• Everything in your image must be your own work! Don't steal anyone's art, and please don't "trace" anything either. Make your own pose.
• Don't include any copyrighted characters from outside of osu! Including your own original characters alongside osu! characters is fine.
• Images must be G-rated and safe-for-work.
• Images must meet the size requirements (at least 1366x768, or higher. Note: "2732x1536 is optimal)

How to Enter

• You should use the template as a base for your artworks. You can download templates here: PSD template / PNG template Note: these templates are to be used as a guide - but don't leave the pink circle in your final artwork ;)
• Post a web-friendly (370px wide by 320px maximum) image in the official contest thread
• Link to a much larger print-friendly image (at least 1366x768, preferably higher, or vector, if possible. Note:2732x1536 is optimal).
• You can upload the images on https://up.ppy.sh/ or https://puush.me/
• You may enter more than one image, but you can only win one grand prize. If you have more than one entry, please keep them all in a single forum post.

By entering, you agree to let us use your art on the osu! website, social media accounts, and merchandise. We'll specifically be using some of the entries on the osu! title page, and if we use your art in an official capacity you'll get a one-month supporter tag.

Only entries that follow all rules will be considered. There will be 10 overall winners who will win a four month supporter tag each. There will also be two grand prize winners for each contest theme: one chosen by public poll, and one chosen by osu! staff. Each winner will get an osu! tablet.
